Maria joined Coastal Wealth Management in September 2023 as Executive Assistant. Reporting directly to Eric Cox, President, her primary responsibility is increasing Eric’s time efficiency with proper calendar and email organization. She is also involved with new client account servicing and processing, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth asset transition to Coastal Wealth Management. She maintains a high level of confidentiality while interacting with clients and centers of influence when handling important client information. Prior to joining Coastal, Maria held many different positions when she started her professional career in 1995 with what is now Wells Fargo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
EDUCATION & FAMILY
Maria attended Michigan State University in Lansing, MI where she graduated with her Bachelors of Arts degree in International Studies/Political Science in 1989. She then went on to attend Graduate School at American University in Washington, D.C. for a Masters of Arts Degree in International Affairs and while she didn’t quite finish her Master’s Degree, she did walk away with a Certificate of Spanish Translation and Interpretation. While working at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in DC as an intern, she became a published author as two of her articles were published in their magazine.
During her free time, Maria enjoys spending time with her husband traveling to different places, especially ones that have a beach. She is a big Philadelphia Eagles fan and loves cheering them on whenever they play. She also loves to read.
