Tyler joined Coastal Wealth Management in 2014 and currently serves as Chief Investment Officer. Tyler is a CFA® charterholder and an Investment Adviser Representative of Headland Capital, LLC. Prior to joining Coastal and launching Upchurch & Corn Advisors, Tyler served as Director of Investments for the Mass Mutual agency in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to that, he served as Senior Research Analyst with Merrill Lynch’s Institutional Sales Group, covering the state of Florida.

Tyler received a B.A. from Elon University. Tyler is involved with CFA Society Jacksonville and is active in the local community through both board service and philanthropy, including Hope Haven and the St. Augustine General Employees Retirement Board. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida, with his wife and two daughters.
